Day1; Depart from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park.
After a hearty breakfast, get picked up by the company safari guide for a 4 to 6 hours’ drive, depending on the traffic, you will have enroute lunch in order to maximize time for the activities, later proceed to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk under a local guide, Enjoy a close encounter with primates such as the Olive baboons, chimpanzees, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, this swamp is popularly known as heaven for bird lovers with over 138 species of birds such as the shoebill stork, blue turacos and wild animals including bushbucks, Mongooses, Elusive sitatunga antelopes etc. Bigodi Sanctuary covers a total surface area of 4 square kilometers and it’s located in Magombe Swamp outside the park.

Day2; Kibale Forest National Park (chimp tracking) to Entebbe. Enjoy early morning breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarter for briefing, of all the 5000 chimpanzees estimated to live in the world currently, a total of about 1500 chimpanzees live in this park, its strategic geographical location makes it a popular spot for other primates such as the black and white colobus monkeys, red cheeked monkeys etc. On your walk under the forest canopies, you will spot chimpanzees swinging on tree branches and others enjoy wild fruits, after a full hour close interaction with the chimps, take photos and later return back to the lodge for lunch, set off for a 4 to 6 hours’ drive back to Entebbe as it will make the end of your two days chimpanzee tracking.
