Overview.
This 4-days wildlife tour is an ideal safari experience comprising of raw and unspoiled beauty of Uganda’s wilderness, this 8 to 9 hours journey from Entebbe comprises of iconic views of several geographical features such as the gentle slopes, savannah plains among others, historically the park was gazette in 1962 covering a total surface area of 144200 hectares of land, located in a far North Eastern part of Uganda sharing the bonder with South Sudan, its popularly known for sheltering some of the rarest wildlife species such as Caracals, Cheetahs, Kudus, Klipspringers, Ostriches, striped hyenas, African Golden Cats among others.

Detailed itinerary.
Day1; Transfer from Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park. After a hearty breakfast, you will embark for an 8 to 9 hours journey from your residence in Entebbe till Kidepo Valley National Park in the North East; it’s commonly known as the remotest though the most endowed game Park in Uganda. Expect a numbly of en route stop overs in order to stretch your legs, buy drinks and lunch. You will arrive at your lodge in the late evening for a well-deserved dinner and overnight.

Day2; Kidepo Valley National Park Tour and Karamojong Cultural experience. On this beautiful morning, take a cup of coffee and then depart into the heart of Kidepo Valley National Park for a rewarding game drive tour. Enjoy the next 3 to 4 hours tracking through the wildlife rich areas of this Park while hoping to spot the rarest wildlife species such as serval cats, Cheetahs, spotted hyenas among others.
One of the popularly visited spot in Kidepo Valley National Park is the stunning Narus Valley (the oasis of Kidepo) where you’re most likely to spot most of the wild games such as; elands, Cape buffaloes, Oribis, the African bush elephants, Defassa waterbucks among others and several bird species including the native Karamoja Apalis. Later return to the lodge for lunch as you will proceed for the afternoon tour visiting the local communities, Local homesteads popularly known as the Manyatta, the local Karamojong warriors who will take you through their culture, the climax of this visit will be the invigorating cultural dance that will end your memorable day.

Day3; Early morning Hike on Mount Morungole and the evening game drive. On this day, you will experience a thrilling adventure in Kidepo Valley National Park; a hike on Mount Morungole is not only an ordinary expedition but also an encounter of the endangered IK people whose population currently stands at 10,000. This hike will be led by a local guide who will take you through the 2750 meter mountain and it will cost you about 7 to 8 hours to reach at its top, enjoy endless slightly dropping views of the Park as you take photos of the monkeys along your way. Depart for an evening game drive on your way back to the lodge as you will spot wild animals such as striped hyenas, Aardwolf, leopards among others.

Day4; Kidepo Valley National Park to Entebbe.
Enjoy a tasty breakfast, pack all your luggage and head to Entebbe, get dropped off at your hotel or lodge as it will mark the end of your 4 days tour in Kidepo Valley National Park. Meal plan; Breakfast and Lunch.
