Day1; Half day Shoebill tracking and late afternoon tour in the botanical
gardens.Get picked up from your hotel or lodge, embark for a 30 to 35minutes drive till the victoria shores, enjoy a thrilling sail with a local guide sitted together in a wooden canoe from the victoria shores till the iconic Mabamba swamp. Its popularly known as a bird’ paradise covering a total surface area of 2424 square kilometers, you will glide through the swamp channels as you will spot several bird species such as pied king fishers, malachite king fishers, Saddle bill stork, Jesus bird, white comorant among others. Sail back to the Victoria shores and drive back to your lodge or hotel, have lunch and later proceed to botanical gardens, study about several tree species, enjoy the close encounter with some primates such as vavet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, head back to your lodge or hotel as it will mark the end the 1 day shoebill tour.
